That really depends on how well of a job you do with optimizing the ads in order to get people to click them. If you have 200 visitors per day, and you can get 50 of those to click your ads. On your site, which looks good, you have stuck AdSense at the very bottom, and it's clearly seperated as an ad. I'm willing to bet that by rethinking your ad placement and colours you could double your CTR (ClickThrough Rate).

And to be honest, I don't think I was 18 when I signed up for neither BURST! nor AdSense. I am today though, so all is forgotten :P

Hehe yeah. Oh and I almost forgot, if you have an AdSense account, you don't need to re-apply if you want to use AdSense on one of your other sites.

Once you're in, you use that account for all your sites.

I didn't know that. That's very helpful, as if I decide to branch out into yet another format of what I love, then I may get some more revenue that way.

Yeah - And you use Channels to track the performance and stats of each site. You can even break it down into different sections of a site as well, to see where you've got more to go on in terms of optimizing placement and colours, and generating more clicks. Very handy indeed.

Yes, channels are extremely useful. I can't tell you how much money they've made for me, as I've used them to track the performance of differently placed ads throughout my site(s), and that way eliminated the non-performing ads, and built on those that do perform.

Well I used to have AdSense running on my site until a couple of people started clicking it illegally and the account got suspended. It was a small Zelda site but it used to bring in a good $120.00+ a month (some months even going as high as $300).

However like I said that got suspended. Right now I'm with www.clicksor.com (which have loads of other networks such as yesadvertising and whatever). They are hard work and it's quite hard to generate a decent amount of revenue from. But also the activity on my community has dropped a fair bit too so it's a knock on.

Is Yahoo!'s advertising program up yet?

I think Yahoo's is still in it's development.

My Adsense barely gives me any money. I'm on like 5 cents a day. I just don't think people are interested in clicking on it. Then again, the hit count is still very low.

I averaged around $3 a day for a fairly small board. Then one month that shot up and a nice cheque for $380 landed on my doorstep, 3 times as much as the usual cheque.

But you've got to remember that Zelda sites all have Google ads, people just don't click as they don't care :(. I need ads that just pay for being there.
