Default Does your website make money?

I know a lot of the many webmasters out there don't realize that their website is a potential gold mine. Me? I was running my first website for a few years after it got popular before I realized that the popularity I had could equal profit.

I never mention my sites on public forums for various reasons, but now I run more than five websites, all which are relatively profitable. In total I am making several thousand of dollars every month, and I work as a webmaster full time. Most of my income comes from various affiliate programs and ads - Both CPM, CPC and CPA. In the future I hope to both expand and diversify my income in order to make it more "secure", mainly by earning directly by selling products etc.

Do you guys make any money from your websites, and are anyone else out there full time webmasters?

That's nice. In total, I make a decent amount of money from the sites I own and run, though the majority of my income comes from the developer side of things - As in developing web sites for various companies etc.

I do believe I could probably make more from the websites I run, but I simply don't have the time to spend all day optimizing it - Which is especially required to make decent money from CPA offers.

Nope, I make no money from my website at all. Simply because I don't believe that it's popular enough for any decent revenue to come through from it yet. I'm working on increasing the popularity of it before any advertisements are added to it. Hell 150ish visitors a day will not create any decent revenue for me.

My gaming site has made about... $15 in ad sales. Like, total.

Congratulations capncornflake - That's very good

And Archaic Sage, believe it or not some sites with 150ish visitors per day can sometimes make in tens, twenties, thirties, fourties and even fifties US dollars every day. Of course that is mainly sites that are constructed around high paying keywords, such as for instance medical keywords.

If your site is entertainment based (such as gaming), you instantly need a lot more to generate decent revenue.

Which is the trouble, lol. As my site is a Zelda site, and most decent paying advertisement firms want more hits than that a day. I'm unable to create a decent sort of revenue at all. Which is rather annoying.

Well, have you tried signing up for Google's AdSense? You might be able to make at least a couple of dollars every day, if you do a good job optimizing the placement and generate a few clicks.

In the Terms and Conditions they say you've got to be eighteen. Although many people disbelieve it, I am actually only 17.

You are damn honest still. I think you should grow up to make money.

BTW, Adsense wont add up much if you dont have large number of visitors a day. Ads at betterwebmaster.com is not doing much for me. I have kept it there though.

I think these days, selling textads can bring you more money than anything. But with the recent PR Death hype, you must wait a bit more it seems.
