Default Design Feedback

Well I'm closing in on the finalized design - I've done quite a bit of the buttons/graphics already, the colour scheme is already what I would characterize as final.

I'm not quite happy with the top yet, and I've obviously not done anything with the bottom yet, and I'm gonna do the rest of the icons that needs to be customized, but all in all, we're close to done.

So, don't be shy - Leave your feedback and suggestions.

The new posts/no new posts icons on the forum index are far to similar, and you probably want to change the online/offline icons, too. Everything else looks nice.

Yeah you're right about that, they are. I was in a creative dead spot at the time, so I just whipped up something for those.

And yeah, the online/offline icons are in the /statusicon/ folder, which I'm about to start. Just finished the buttons folder.

I like most of the images you've redone. I have to go with Sear about the new post/no new post images. Still, everything seems to fit the design well so far, and the colors are simple, clean, and easy on the eyes.

Well I've readone most of the status-icons, including the thread status icons, and the frontpage one. Had to use some colour differences to seperate everything, but yeah.

Looks a lot better, though I don't know what the V is for.

"V" is commonly used for marking something, and in this case, marking that a forum or a thread has new posts

Now we just need new smileys *kicks vB default smileys*

For smileys, just use the ones you have on ZU. They're nice, simple, and get the job done well.

Just don't use that one set where the winking guy looks like his eye is taped shut.

What's wrong with having a guy with his eye taped shut?

If possible, you might want to change the color of the quick reply box. The tan doesn't really go with the rest.
