Default Ie7

So, who's managed to get a copy of this browser yet? I've not managed to download one, as I don't want to overwrite my copy of IE6 as beta technology=bad security. Even though I'm a Firefox user. Mezzoblue gave a good article on it. It doesn't look anywhere as near as beautiful as Firefox, and even that's dismissed by a lot of Mac users.

Even some Microsoft employees admit that it's not as good as it could be.

Personally, I don't like the look of it. And with such poor CSS rendering, there are some serious issues that need resolving, and soon!

It's only a matter of time before the rest of the sane world moves away from IE.

When school starts Tuesday, I'm going to attempt to get the computer department to start to switch to Firefox.. or at least offer both browsers for use. I used Firefox on the school network before, and all their content blocks are still in place, so there shouldn't be a problem.

Just mention how the security is tighter and the school is less likely to be attacked by viruses. lol

IE7 doesn't even look nice though. You would think they would have tried to make a bit more effort with the interface.

Given that it's still a beta, they typically do features before interface. However, they didn't seem to do either correctly.

Which doesn't suprise me. They clearly don't update it enough. You'd think, Microsoft, the biggest computer company in the world, would be able to update more than free Firefox.
