Default Headers?

When you are creating a header for a website, what would you say the maximum height should be?

Personally, I vary from 100 pixels to 200 pixels. I don't like the larger pixels as they make the layout feel to 'long'. It also tends to look a little amateurish sometimes.

The 125px area I like. Seems to be the magic number.

Anything over 150 just looks rediculous, unless some sort of menu or content is integrated into it.
