Looks like they used a skin for the php application and adjusted the header image.
Unfortunately, the code used is not browser friendly, at least not on Firefox, the css script overlaps on the mac.

CSS Websites & Tutorials
If you want to learn high-end CSS (Custom Style Sheets).
Then go here:
CSS Zen Garden
You will have to download the files and break them apart. Be sure to search the designs. There are some excellent designs and a few that are mediocre. But the level of CSS used is pretty advanced and everyone has their own tastes.

Zen Gardens is great! . I love the person who wrote the book's blog, it's really interesting.
You can do most things with the CSS, I've recently created a layout that looks semi-official, and it's all done with stylesheets. It's all coding valid as well. There is only one small problem, but I'm working with that pretty easily.
In the case of this layout, to me it doesn't look too complex, it's mainly just a big header at the top, with another row and then another one under that, then the main content areas. I'm not sure how they managed to get the Zelda Games panel area like that though. I hate tables, it'd be a lot easier if you did that with CSS.

Is it me, or does that site bear a huge resemblance to the Old ZU?
Anyways, I like HTML Goodies. Lots of good primers and tutorials. If you ever get stuck on anything, that's a good place to head.

Looks like a total rip-off of the old ZU theme, and they're using the same Lord of the Rings font that was used recently on ZU's last layout.

Everyone uses the Lord of the Rings text though, I use it all over the place as it's just a good font.
